I built this site for Thomas for fun, in my spare time, to promote his band the T.I.N.men. It started as 2 pages. Picture a snowball rolling down a hill. That is what happened here, the site got added to a page here and a page there. Before long,
I had the Official Thomas Ian Nicholas website. It now has 44 pages. I am always adding stuff, mostly pictures and information.
People always ask, "How did you meet Thomas?"
My wife and I met Thomas Ian Nicholas two years ago on a cruise ship on our way to Mexico. We were in our cabin watching TV, and "Rookie of the Year" was playing. "Henry Rowengartner", from the movie, looked a lot like the gentleman that sat next to us at lunch. At one of our port stops in Mexico, I asked Thomas, "Was that you I watched on TV last night?" Thomas said smiling, "Yes. . . Quite a coincidence. . ." We chatted for awhile and Thomas invited me to go windsurfing with him.
We continued to hang out for the rest of the cruise. After the cruise we stayed with Thomas in Los Angeles for a few days.
Last year Thomas came to British Columbia for a camping trip into the mountains with us. We had a great time out in the middle of nowhere.
And if his busy schedule ever eases up, he will be back again.
The first time Thomas came to visit us, he brought with him a demo tape of the T.I.N.men's music. To that point we did not know he had a band. We popped the demo into the Jeep's tape deck and we loved the music!! Better yet, it is Christian music!! From demo tape to demo tape to demo cd to the real thing.
The music of the T.I.N.men can be purchased all over the USA and Canada now.
